Garter hat

My first time doing this and I absolutly loooooooove this pattern (the first dark green hat). Very easy, pretty and leaves no tip or wrinkles.

I made only 6 sections instead of 7 as suggested on the pattern.

Much recommended. I’m going to make another one that doesn’t need folding.

I love this hat! I’m thinking it might be a nice pattern for chemo caps I’m making, since there’s no seaming, and I haven’t figured out knitting in the round. Do I need to do some studying on short rows first before trying it???

This hat was knitted on straight needles from side to side not from the bottom up.
