I am a self taught knitter.I thought this would be an easy project .instead I am left with all kinds of questions…How do you turn a corner???and then,row3?if the yarn is brought to the back, how do you knit it???
Do you have a link to the pattern so we can look at it with you? You always knit sts with the yarn in back; if it says to bring yarn forward, then knit the next stitches, that makes a YO (yarn over). You can post a few rows of the pattern so we can help you, just not the whole thing.
I think I figured that part out…it was to ‘lock’ stitches together…now I need to know what psso is abr for…
The pssomeans pass the slip stitch over the one in front of it on the right hand needle if you are right handed. Not being a left hander I am not sure if the stitches being worked go on to the left or right needle.
Psso is not a separate stitch, it’s part of a decrease as in slip 1, k1 psso (pass the slipped st over the k1). You can find most knitting terms on the Glossary link at the top of the page.
