I love knitting humor!
I am going to show my stupid side here but
I don’t get it~! :hiding:
ainee … it is two different jokes … it took me a while, too
I would TOTALLY knit for tattoos! In fact, I knit while I get my tattoos, and my artist has commented on the things I’ve been knitting several times. He really like the Danica I was doing.
I smell a potential trade coming on… :teehee:
YOU KNITTED during your TATOO session~! YOU must have a HIGH pain tolerance b/c I am a fraidy cat when it comes to pain :wall:
OMG, knitting is the only thing that gets me through those sessions! If I can concentrate on counting my stitches and following a pattern, I can block out what is going on with the tattoo. That’s not to say that my gauge doesn’t get a bit tighter, since I’m holding onto those needles and yarn for all they’re worth.
I’m only 6 hours in, and I’ve got about another 20 to go (2 hours at a time). I figure by the time I’m done, my artist will know a lot more about knitting than he ever wanted to.
I want to knit during the next tattoo I get! I just can’t afford any right now… it would cut into the yarn budget!
So knitting for tattoos would be a GREAT idea! I don’t think I have a high tolerance for pain… but I did almost doze off once while getting my back piece worked on… :teehee:
Those are so cute! :happydance:
