Fun Treasure Hunt on Berroco.com

There is a fun contest on the Berroco website. If you complete the “hunt” you can win the spring 07 pattern collection.

I just finished it and it was fun to do.

Here is the link to the first starting question:

Good luck everyone

That was fun. Thanks.

I got stuck on Q3… Hopalong Cassidy, Wild Bill, etc. :??

I am stuck on that one too!

That one’s for the Suede yarn color card. :psst:

The one I’m stuck on is the yarn that’s been in their line longest… I’d almost swear I clicked on every stinkin’ one. :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: found it – it’s Glace.

Me too!

I’ve gotten to the end of the puzzle now (only by the powers of Google  ) and now it says to send them and email with some subject line, but what am i supposed to put in the body of the email?

nevermind :teehee:

I kept searching variations on “stitch dictionary” to no avail…apparently I need a thesaurus as well  .

Do a search for their stitch glossary. There is a search function on the home page.

Good luck…

Lynn

Ah, Google. I just went to Google and typed in berroco +other key words from their clue and up came the right page.

that was fun! the knitting organizer stumped me. i kept using thier search engine and couldnt pull it up! :teehee: good luck :happydance:

I’m lost. Where do you click to get all the questions? :?? I only saw the first one in the announcement.

you use thier search feature on the home page, when you find the right page, you get the next Q. there are 9 total…

i’m a total cheat. i just took the address of their first clue and inserted the number ‘9’ where there was a ‘1’ (cuz they said there would be 9 clues) and answered that question. but all it tells you is to send an email to info at berroco, so i think i might have been a little disappointed if I had had to work for that. :teehee:

Nah, it was the searching for answers that was fun. Thanks for posting!

Okay, now I get it.

When I got to the question about Buffalo Bill, etc. I asked a co-worker (man). I thought it had to with their location. :wall:

I didn’t know it was a color for a yarn!

He just asked me if I ever found the answer… I told him it was a yarn thing… he just gave me a puzzled look.

:roflhard:
