Fun Day

I had my little granddaughter over and she picked out some yarn from my basket to make her doll a blanket. Well, she has a shorter attention span than that and so when I got half the blanket done, she wanted to be done with our project. So voila! a hat was born! It actually turned out cute and she was very happy which was the point of this afternoon’s knitting anyway!

Adorable!

What a cutie in her pretty hat!

cute! she’s adorable.

Aww… Who could say “no” to such a sweetie/cutie pie!! The hat is lovely, too!

That is so cute !!

Thanks! She is just such a sweet little girl and I love to spend time with her. I just started knitting in November and have made 12 scarves, 3 hats, 1 booga bag and this little hat, numerous samples and I’m addicted now. The next thing I’m trying is Iris Schier’s (sp?) Modular Knitting. I love the challenge of trying new things and this looks very interesting and challenging. I want to try socks in the near future as I have a 20 year old daughter who hates wearing socks with seams in the toes - I think she might love a pair of soft hand knit socks.

Thanks for your encouraging words!

What a cute little girl!! Her hat looks great. Those are the times that memories are made from- she will be able to look back one day and say that she remembers spending time with her grandma and having grandma knit for her. Priceless!!

Isn’t she adorable?!! Love her cute little hat!

What a great story! The hat looks great on your little cutie

I recently received the Modular Knits book. I’ll be interested in hearing how you like it, and in seeing your projects.

She looks adorable in her new hat! I’m glad you enjoy spending time with her and having fun.
