I decided to change the stitch pattern I was using originally in my swatch and just added stripes to the EZ Baby Surprise Jacket pattern.

Thanks everyone!!! And, especially you, Ingrid…you helped me in my hour of desperation! I ended up knitting ALL night Fri night to finish it by Sat morning. I had to do seams and buttons in the car…I was WIPED out. I slept for 1.5 hrs on the way to the shower and almost all the way back home. I think I’m almost caught up now.
I know they were a big hit @ the shower…love, love them

I also love to sew and I can’t tell you how many times I have had to sew on buttons and finish hems on the way to church on Christmas and Easter! :lol:
