Hi,
I’ve been working on knitting the levitate wrap by myfavouritethings since May 8th, so maybe the last few weeks, but it’s a gift for my sister and I made a size small when I really should’ve made an xs for her. I’ve knitted the whole body, have not started the sleeves or the double knit edges, so this is probably 70-80% of the wrap that I have knitted so far. I’m really feeling the urge to frog all my progress and start over to make a size extra small. I’ve never frogged my work before so I’m a little scared that the yarn will somehow lose its fluff? idk and because it’s blown yarn, I’m not sure if I should do it.
Is frogging different when it comes to blown yarns or the same? And should I frog the work and wash the yarn or just frog it and restart?
Please give me some advice, thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
I can see where this cozy, oversize wrap with plenty of positive ease might need to be down-sized.
You might try frogging the last part that was knit for a couple of inches then soak and re-knit with that yarn. Or leave the sweater as is and knit a swatch with unused yarn, let it sit a week then frog, soak and reknit the swatch just to test the yarn.
I don’t have any experience with doing this with blown yarn. I hope there are other forum members who do.
