Free Yarn Sample from Knit One Crochet Too

I posted this on another thread, but thought there might be a few of you out there who’d be interested as well.

Knit One Crochet Too is coming out with a new “yarn” called PJ’s which is fleece fabric cut into thin strips. I couldn’t find it on their website, but it’s advertised in the Interweave Knits that I just received.

Interesting concept. Cut a perfect piece of fleece fabric into strips, then weave them toegether again…

Nothing. They use it to mail the sample to you.

You put the SASE inside another envelope. On the SASE I would write something like “RE: free PJ’s Sample” or something. :slight_smile:

I’d use a Post-it for that.

I just got a free yarn sample from them, but it was a merino with a bit of glitter in it…very soft, but I’m not a “glittery” kinda girl.
I got it very quickly, too!

I saw that ad and keep wondering if one could make some fleece yarn by cutting a piece of fleece like they do to make yarn from plastic bags… I’ve got a cutting board and rotary cutter and it sounds doable to me. What do you all think? samm
