I want to learn freeform knitting. Does anyone know how to create this pattern? It looks like it should be easy but I have no idea how to start. When I google wave stitch I only find this little wiggle thing. Thanks!

You can get this effect by increases and decreases. Here it is in a more regular pattern but it can be adapted to free form.
