hey does anyone know how i could get pattern ideas on the computer? i have tried putting grid paper on paint and things like that but i need something to help me get an idea of what the pattern would really look like
ive searched and i have only found one computer thing that costs money and is for – professional knitters – and that cost money and i don’t have the money to spend since i spend it all on yarn haha.
Those are very time intensive and detailed programs to create so they usually do cost money. You can download this demo though of the stitch and motif maker. It’s limited, but I’ve used it many times for creating a design. Take a look at what it does in the info on the left then give it a try.
