Found this neat and simple knitting idea

Its called “The World’s Best Kitchen Scrubbie”, and it looks like a fun and simple project for any beginner. All you need is some tulle, a pair of scissors, (and needles of course!) and have an understanding of the basics (knit stitch/garter stitch, casting on and binding off) and you’ve got a handy little scrubbie that will (supposedly, according to the video) last for years. Here is the video link:

A link to the pattern is in the description and its probably best not to use glittery tulle, as she explains in the video, unless you want to spend countless hours vacuuming all the glitter up.

Welcome back Artchic! Have you been knitting or do you plan to venture back into it? Looks to be a great and useful project!

Thanks Claire!!

I’ve been on a knitting hiatus for the summer as the warm weather made my hands all sweaty and the yarn wouldn’t stretch as it should. Now that the weather has turned, I can knit again!!

As soon as I can get to my local A.C. Moore’s and find some tulle (the non glittery kind :teehee: ) I plan on using it in the a fore mentioned project, to give to my mother for Christmas. Can’t beat a gift that can be used every single day, multiple times a day at that!

I’ve made a bunch of those although I got he pattern from Ravelry I think. Haven’t had them for awhile though.

I got my netting here-
