Found the yarn, now for the pattern

I passed by my usual knitting-shop the other day and cought a glimpse of this wonderful yarn in different brown colours. I just had to get it, so I went in and bought it.
The problem came later, when looking for a pattern. This yarn is really rather thin ( it recommends use of needles size: E -11; Us - 2.5; 3mm ). And all of the patterns I seem to find out there are for thicker yarns and won’t come out in this size ( I tried them out in some other spare yarn the same size ).
Does anyone know of a pattern which might do for my case?
Thanks To Everybody!

Nico

That’s like a sock yarn or fingering weight. You can make a shawl or lacey scarf or baby things with it. At dailyknitter.com the patterns have needle sizes listed so you could look at those for US size 2-3 and see if there’s anything you’d like.

How many yards do you have and what do you want to knit?

The yarn is about 260m long. Because of the colours been a variety of browns, I thought it might do for a scarf or sth like that, that will enhance the constrasts.
I’ve only just found out another thing, it’r acrylic. And it seems a bit hard to handle, is this so?

Thanks again

Okay, that’s about 284 yards. A lot of patterns and sites use yards so I did the conversion.

This site lists appx how much you need for various patterns. Maybe it will help a bit. You should be able to make a nice long scarf with it.

Some acrylics are good, some not. Some hate it, some love it. So no easy answers there.

A scarf with a scallop or chevron would show up the yarn nicely maybe.

Thank you SO much!
The chevron scarf was just the kind of pattern I was looking for!
Simple & Nice

And thanks for the link on the yarn’s length.
