Foulard ASAP!

Help! I loaned my copy of Morehouse Farms Merino Knits and am now trying to cast on for the foulard. I remember everything about the pattern/gauge info except for ONE thing: do you knit a plain row in between the increase/decrease rows or do you increase/decrease every row??? Anyone who has the book or has knit this and can tell me, I would really, really appreciate it. I can’t get a hold of the person I lent my copy to and not one single knitting shop in my city has the book.

My local book store has this book and I like it a lot. I especially want the instructions to the first sweater. I don’t remember the name, but it is for the older man. Hopefully, I can get it after Christmas.
One thought, have you asked your library to check to see if they have a copy of this book ? I wish I could help you.
