I got tired of working on long projects with no real end in sight right now so last night i sat down and made a dishcloth and a monitor cloth using the “Granny’s favorite” dishcloth pattern with sugar n cream yarn.
I did the dishcloth on size 8’s and increased the number of stitches until i could comfortably fit my hand on it (i think i wound up with 48 stitches total) before i started decreasing. To do the monitor cloth i changed to a size 7 needle and increased until i had 30 stitches then started the decrease. My dh used the “monitor cloth” on his laptop last night and it worked perfectly without so much as leaving streaks on the screen (no cleaner used).
