FOs: Toddler Poncho, Baby Hat, Cable Purse

My first FOs post. These are my most recent FOs.

Toddler Poncho for my daughter made out of LB Jiffy & Fun Fur. Thanks very much to KH for the easy pattern. I used newspaper to determine the best size for my DD who is 4. Each piece is 12x22. (I have yet to get a photo with DD modeling it.)

A baby hat for my co-worker’s daughter’s new baby boy. I used Plymouth Yarn Jelly Beenz. It’s adapted from the Knitting Calendar Barb’s Twizzle Baby Hat & SnB’s Umbilical Cord Baby Hat.

And here’s my cable purse, which I finished in less than 2 days! Thanks to silveridger for the inspiration: Silveridger’s Cable Purse I decided I had to have one and improvised for a pattern. (My first project making cables!) I used LB Wool-Ease Thick & Quick because it was all I could find (crazy last minute project to bring with me to a trade show tomorrow). However I think I will use Rowan Big Wool like silveridger for my next one because I like the look of the Rowan better.

Here’s a photo with the lining, which I love, because it matches perfectly!

I love the poncho – great colors and the fun fur really makes it look special. The hat is adorable – I’m sure your co-worker will love it!

And that purse! I can’t believe you finished it in less than 2 days!!! And that’s your first project with cables?!! Amazing work – it’s beautiful!

Everything looks great, but I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE that purse! The lining and the ribbon really make it something extra special!
