FO's: Stashbuster Mr Greenjeans and Tapestry Crochet wall hangin

Here are a few recently finished projects:

I wanted a Spring cardie and decided on Mr Greenjeans from Knitty. Fortunately I had plenty of yarn in my stash for it just all in different colors so I just knit with a color until it ran out and then started a new one. It was fun! The yarn is Novita 7 Veljestä.

I have been interested in Tapestry Crochet for some time and have only now got around to trying a flat piece. I used a dk weight 100% mercereized cotton and size 3.5mm crochet hook. The deer chart is from Enchanted Knitting.

Wow! Those are both just amazing! Love the fun you had with Mr. Green Jeans, and the tapestry truly is beautiful.

Great job! :yay:

nice pieces…wel done

What a great idea for the Mr. Greenjeans! Pretty spring colors, and a great way to use up stash yarn. The wall hanging is amazing!

Beautiful!!! Love the fun striping on the cardi and your tapestry is truly a piece of art! Great job!

What a fantastic job on both! I love what you did with Mr. Greenjeans (I have that sweater in my queue too!) The tapestry is quite beautiful!

Great job, love the colors in the Mr.Greenjeans and :inlove: on the wall hanging!

Wowee! That wall hanging is amazing and the stashbuster sweater is pretty and summery!

They both look wonderful, great job.

They both are gorgeous:inlove:!!! I usually don’t like crochet, but that hanging is beautiful:passedout:

What a gorgeous Tapestery Crochet!! And love Mr. Striped-Jeans. You came up with a perfect stash-busting idea  that turned out great.

Both are wonderful! STASHBUSTING queen!!!

WOW that tapestry is amazing:shock: Get idea for the spring sweater:yay:

Great job on both projects!

I love the colorful Green Jeans and the tapestry is simply stunning!

Bambi

Fun colors on the sweater. The tapestry is really nice. The deer makes me think of a Dr. Suese (I can’t spell the name, you know the guy who did all the cool rhyming stories for kids) deer, with a remarkable set of horns.

 I never thought of the deer looking like a Seuss deer but you are right! My dh hates it because he says it looks like it’s back is broken with the way the legs are flipped over… Oh well, can’t please everyone!

The deer design is actually taken from an ancient tattoo discovered on a mummy in Central Asia (according to the book). I liked the historical aspect of it.

They are both wonderful!!! You are so smart!

It does not look like it’s back is broken! It’s lovely. And I had no idea you could do that with crochet.
