I finished this scarf & hat set a little late, but the son I made it for wasn’t home for Christmas so it worked out OK. The scarf is based on the Yarn Harlot’s one row scarf but I made it a little wider. Yarn is Mission Falls 1824 Wool superwash merino, which I love. The hat is a simple 1x1 rib in Sirdar Click dk acrylic/wool.
The set looks good and so does the model :teehee:
That’s a good looking hat and scarf set - thanks for sharing! :yay:
Wow yours is MUCH classier then Yarn Harlots.I wouldn’t even knit that scarf from looking at hers,BUT yours looks wonderful!!!
My daughter is making one from that pattern, too. Isn’t it great!? Yours looks beautiful!
Yes, this is the second scarf I’ve made from this pattern and I love the texture of it. It’s a nice alternative to a ribbed scarf and makes a nice, simple manly scarf. Very quick knit, too!
Thanks for the kind words.
WOW! beautyful, nice work & great color combo.
Very nice. It looks so masculine! Very nice model, too.:teehee:
