I’m finally getting these posted…
I loved making mittens for my kids this winter! My grandma used to make mittens for my sister and I when we were little. It’s fun to be able to carry on the tradition now that I can knit.

The royal blue mittens on the left and the navy blue mittens on the right are the Snow Country Felted Mittens made with Cascade 220 (two strands held together).
The varigated purple mittens were made using the mitten pattern from the Knitting Pure and Simple Basic Hat and Mitten Set for Children. The yarn color is Visual Purple, a superwash merino from Dream in Color.
These mittens got a lot of use this winter. I know I’ll be in mitten-making mode again this fall.
I’ll have to start making mittens as well.
