Forum Database Error

I have knitting help.com hot linked at the top of my firefox page. When I tried to go from the page with the cast on videos to the forum I got a database error…

I was able to get here from a link in my email for a subscribed thread.

I just want to make sure you know about this…

I have the exact same issues. Was able to get sneaky and find the new posts, but can not get to the main forum at all without that exact error.

I have the same problem and when I try to post using the lefthand button, my login is there but the page shows the data base error. I was only able to post on the quick reply.

The message you’re getting (I’m getting it, too) just means there is an error in line 371 of the coding in the class_core file in the includes folder. Probably a transciption error from the last time the forum was updated.

Shouldn’t be too hard to fix.

Me too. I thought I’d messed up. I have been on my computer moving files all morning. I thought, I have done it now. I’m lost without KH :teehee:

I also noticed, the thread of Sheltons about problems is closed today.

I have the error too and just get in via a back door. I can zoom around the forum once in it, but getting in is fun! :wink:

Getting the same message. I freaked for a second wondering what to do while working on my sock. Glad I found a way to sneak in.

Me too! I can’t get past the error to post if I try to refresh the pages the normal way. I have no idea how to manipulate this forum right now, ddammit! OK, I’ve got some errands to do, perhaps Sheldon will have it fixed by time I get back.

All this (Sat) morning I could get to the main home page, but not to the forums from there. Drove me nuts - I think I was starting to get withdraw symtoms! Finally realized I had saved a ‘thread’ to my favorites and got in that way!

I had the same thing but clicked on a link on the home page and got in…if I click on new posts I can browse around or the knit spy button…it’s when I try to get to the index I get the error…

I’m sure Sheldon will get it back up and running smoothly as soon as he can… :thumbsup:

I can’t go directly to the forum either. I went through my history to find a post I had recently been to to get here. Annoying. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ditto here… I actually clicked on the knitchat to see if anyone got there and was talking about it…then I opened “new posts” in another window. Here I am…

I can see the index if I click on the 2nd Knittinghelp.com link… and then go into the other forums that way…:happydance:
