I’ve changed my mind on a recent project idea, and have no use for the 13 skeins of 100% Merino, “Maple Leaf” red. I could return it for a refund, it’s untouched, but I thought I’d offer it for sale first to one of you overseas knitters; since knitpicks doesn’t ship overseas (or to Canada?). I’ll sell it at knitpick’s low price, and I’ll pay for International shipping up to $6. Total is $29.77 plus any shipping over the $6.
Label says it knits up on US size 5 or 6 needles, to 5.5 sts/inch. 123 yeards/skein. Total of 1599 yards.
According to a chart I have, this is enough yarn to make a woman’s sweater. If knit at 5 sts/inch, it can make a 42" bust sweater. At 6 sts./inch, it can make a 34" bust sweater.
This is a lovely soft merino, a gorgeous bright red (picture here, looks accurate on my monitor). The only reason I’m changing my mind on it is because I like faster knitting so have decided to downgrade to the less soft but slightly bulkier Wool of the Andes.
Let me know if you’re interested in this stash of merino! Otherwise I’ll just return it.
