I just took these pictures of my 8 year old niece today, after we got out of the lake at my dad’s. So please forgive the water-logged hair! She love this top. I also bought her the white skort to go with it…I didn the top in Caron Simply Soft in lilac.
For some reason, I had trouble adding another photo…sorry for the second post, but I wanted to add a closer view. The little detail on the top are double purl decreases. This top was knit from the bottom up…

I made a purple one like that for DD two years ago (?) and I just started a new one in white. I’m using Lion Brand Cotton-ease. I’m only on the 11th row.
I adore this pattern! But this time, I think I’m going to rework the top to make it more like a tank.
