FO UPDATE! Baby Boy Cabled Pullover

I love it! How the heck do you knit so fast!? :teehee:

Besides the time spent each day, I prepare a notebook for each pattern. By the time I cast on the first stitch, I know the pattern inside out. This prevents frogging and correcting of errors.

Thanks for your compliments!

Oh goodness! It’s lovely! What a lucky baby!

That is just beautiful-perfect for a baby boy! Well done, as always

What a gorgeous sweater. You are right that here in Washington you could wear knits almost all year. When I knit a hat for my new niece part of me was thinking it was weird to knit a summer hat but I realized there will be plenty of days or evenings at least that are hat worthy on a newborn.

Now I know the sizes on both these new ones. Thanks. I love this one. The close up is really nice to show the gold fleck in the tweed. Beautiful!!

Beautiful!!

That’s beautiful! I just love looking at your perfect work, it gives me hope that I can knit as well as you someday!:aww:

Don’t mean to unnecessarily bump this WHATCHA KNITTING thread…but ya gotta see this!

The new mother (to whom this sweater was given) put her 3 month old baby boy in one of my gifted sweaters! She sent me a link to the photo session, and that is why there is a watermark/trademark within the photo! Isn’t he adorable??

He’s simply gorgeous, and he looks so happy in his beautiful sweater!

He is adorable and that sweater is gorgeous! That’s so nice of the mother to appreciate and love it so much that she had photos taken and sent them to you!

aww he is just to cute! It looks wonderful on him :yay:

ArtLady, that is just perfect on the little guy. He is sure a cutie too. But I think if it is cool enough for a sweater and jeans he needs some socks. That’s the meddling grandmother in me. LOL

Awwww, he looks so handome in his sweater!

You should be proud. Ahh, that is so awesome, now it will be remembered forever even though he outgrows it, it is imortalized. It looks really awesome on him too.

As for the no socks with the sweater he is a true Washingtonian getting ready to wear his birkenstocks in the rain. We are famous for wearing a sweatshirt and jacket on top with shorts and sandals on bottom. We know we’re nuts but it’s just the way we are. LOL :roflhard: You know you’ve done it MerigoldinWa. LOL

That is a great sweater and beautiful work.

GirlChris,

LOL But I don’t do that. I live on the dry side and I like to be warm, but my DD who lives in Spokane likes to wear sandals all winter. Not Birkenstocks though. I made her some Geisha socks once in an attempt to keep her from getting sick. LOL

OH MY GOODNESS! He is so adorable . The sweater looks lovely on him .
You must be over the moon seeing him in the sweater
Thanks for sharing and also for making me feel a little broody lol

Beautiful little guy, beautiful job on his sweater!

Aww, that’s so cute! He obviously enjoys wearing it. Beautiful work on the sweater.
