FO: Traveling Woman

I love the way this little shawl turned out, but I can’t say I enjoyed knitting it. It’s a simple lace pattern, but for some reason I made a lot of mistakes and had to rip back repeatedly. Thank goodness I used lifelines. I loved working with the Ella Rae Lace Merino – it is so soft and the color is beautiful. Blocks really well, too.

That’s gorgeous! I used the Ella Rae Lace Merino for Wisp and I love it!

Very pretty and I love the color - will have to look for this yarn.

Beautiful pattern … and the color looks gorgeous on you! :inlove:

That is just lovely! The colorway is stunning on you. :inlove:

I just completed the travelling woman this summer and I kept making mistakes and ripping back, too. It’s not how the pattern is written, it was just me!

Beautiful, the color is gorgeous on you

It’s as beautiful as you are! Total perfection! Great work, Slim!

Very pretty!! You say simple lace, but simple can be so effective. The color you picked looks very nice on you too. It certainly did block out well. Those points almost look like they are pinned out still.

Beautiful, as all your knitting is! I can’t get over how great that color is on you!

I’ve read comments on Ravelry by several people who had trouble with mistakes and having to rip back with this pattern. I don’t know why, but it makes a beautiful shawlette.

I think all of the patterns inspired by Bones are lovely. That could just be because I’m a huge Bones fan, though.

Wow … it sure turned out gorgeous!! LOVE the color and looks like all your ripping paid off. Love the results!!

Very pretty! I love that color.

wow !! What a really beautiful scarf!! LOVE IT!!

I just saw this over on Ravelry, Slim! Your work is always beautiful! This looks terrific on you!

I am three rows of finishing this exact pattern, but I ran out of yarn (which is why I saw your’s…was going to ask for scraps, but I used color #103).

Anyhoo…

You did a terrific job! I know you’re going to enjoy wearing it!

Oh, no!! I’m so sorry you ran out right at the end! Maybe someone on Ravelry has some.

I’ve decided to gift mine to d-i-l #3 for her birthday.
