FO: The better doggy sweater

Just finished my second dog sweater, the first I made from a lionbrand yarn pattern and it was much too small, so I tried making the larger size and it was much too large. So I went searching for something better and found this:

If you’re looking to knit a sweater for your pooch, this is a fantastic pattern! It’s a little complicated because you have to do quite a bit of math on your own, but it’s worth it because the results are just great!
I made Lowla’s sweater from a luxourious 69% wool, 19% Angora, 12% nylon yarn. Too fancy for a dog? Nah. I unraveled a sweater I found at goodwill for 5 dollars. An American Eagle sweater at that, high class! Anyway, here she is modeling, whatcha think? I thought about sewing the american eagle tags back on it cause I thought it’d look all professional.

That’s AWESOME! I love the yarn!

Lowla looks smashing in her new sweater. Such a nice fit. Very sophisticated. Thanks for the link, I’m going to look at it. I don’t have a dog, but I do have one grand dog.

 it looks great and Lowla looks happy!!

Looks nice! Great fit too.

LOL! That is TOO cute!

How cute! What a great find on that recycled sweater!

Great fit!

Love the doggy sweather, looked at the pattern, the math seems quite complicated but I guess if you take it one step at the time. I have a Cavalier king charles that my daughter would love for me to knit something like that. I would never have thought to buy from a charity shop, great idea.

Your dog looks cute in the new sweater.

Awwwwww looks so cute

What a great doggie sweater…I love the way Lowla models it from every angle!!
