This is a big, drapey sweater with a ruffle that forms a shawl collar. The back/body is knit round and round, so the colorways form a nice spiral. The ruffle is in seed stitch, the rest is all stockinette.
It looks great. I love the colorway you chose. It spiraled so nicely!
Very nice work.
Thanks. The yarn the pattern called for had been discontinued. It had a longer color repeat, so the blocks of color were more pronounced–more blockish, bolder striping. But this yarn was a nice substitute–Patons Shetland Chunky in High Plains Variegated–and cost a lot less than the other yarn would have.
Oh wow, that’s fabulous!
It’s just beautiful!

Thanks, Wanda! I love your photos, especially the outdoor portraits. I’m a photographer, too: http://www.ArtWanted.com/CarolR
That turned out nice!! I love the elegant bell sleeve effect you gave it, and the ruffle all the way around. The yarn is great too!
It’s beautiful – looks so cozy and warm! Lovely colors too.
Beautiful:)

Very pretty! I’ve been wanting to make this sweater too, but somehow I feel it would fit me better if I lost some of my extra weight :roflhard:
