Well, this is my first ‘official’ try at a sock.
I’m following a ‘basic’ pattern, and am sure I’ll get LOADS wrong, (or just not quite perfect)… but at least I’ll have a sock under my belt.
Oh, it’s only a kids size… coz I figured it wouldn’t take as long

It’s the Wendy Peter Pan variegated.

OoooOOOooo socky socky!! Are you using Silvers tutorial?
Umm… no <hides>
I’m using my notes from the sock course I did this year, plus the sock Knitty Gritty Episode…
:cheering: :cheering: :cheering: Yay!!! I hope this converts you! I love making socks and love it when others fall in love with creating socks! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

:cheering: :cheering: But you know you’re not really ‘done’ until there are two! :rofling:
Oh, this was a ‘trial’ sock, so it wasn’t actually made to ‘fit’ anyone… hehe I just wanted to make sure I could do it.
I am making slipper socks for my niece and nephew out of a nice CHUNKY wool/acrylic blend for running around the house in
(I’m not ready for the FT Clogs yet - esp if I can’t buy WOTA to do it in!!!)
I think that sock looks great. I love those colors. Where do you find that yarn?
