Both hats were originally knit for my 7-year-old grandson, but the first came out way too big and his uncle claimed it. The pattern is Skull Hat (a free Ravelry download), and the yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash. Mods are on my Ravelry page, http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Slim/skull-hat.
They both look great. Gorgeous family too!! BTW - did you knit that black and white argyle scarf I see uncle wearing too?
Wow, those look awesome, Marilyn! :yay:
Yes, that’s the Uncle Argyle scarf from Son of Stitch 'n Bitch. I made a couple of them last year and love the pattern. I plan on making myself one this year.
I love those hats and it looks like your family does too.I think I’ll have to download that pattern for when my nephews are older
Oh, my son would love it, I’ll have to check it out.
And, the hat goes so very well w/the b&w argyle scarf, I think I need to look into that book for the scarf too!!
I haven’t made the scarf yet, but I was able to get the book from the library and copy that pattern. If it’s the only pattern you want that’s a good option.
These are great, Slim! The guys look so pleased with themselves!
I have to add my 2 cents worth and agree that those are really great! Looks like the boys really think so as well
Love them!! Looks like they do too! Great job!
Great hats (and scarf)!!! Way to go!!!:cheering:
Those are so cool!
