I finished my first garment ever, and I think it turned out pretty good! I’m really proud of it! I made it with Bernat Softee Baby. There are more pictures and detail on Ravelry.
Very cute and I love the color.
That’s so pretty!
Thanks! I really enjoyed making it. I wish I knew more babies so I could make another one! lol
it turned out beautiful!!! Congrats!
That looks lovely. Lucky baby.
It is beautiful
Great job on your first garment!!! You did a great job!!! love the color!!
You did a great job! If you want to make more of them, you might see if the local hospital would like some.
Very cute!
That’s a good idea, deb! When I’m done with the other projects I’m working on, I’m probably going to have quite the stash built up (I’m still new and don’t have much of a stash yet), so I might just do that. Seeing this finished almost made DH and I want another baby. That didn’t last long though when our 4-year-old was in the middle of throwing a temper tantrum in the midst of our conversation about that. LOL Other people will have to have the babies, and I’ll just knit for them.
I think I’m going to try to knit a sweater or something for my 4-year-old next, though. That should be fun. My 14-year-old doesn’t think they’re cool, so no go there.
That is so sweet. I wish I had a baby to knit for. I’m waiting for dd to get pregnant. I love knitting baby things…and crocheting baby things…and buying baby things. Guess I just love babies in general.

Absolute PERFECTION! You should be very proud of it!
I visited Ravelry…and downloaded the whole Shebang! I really like your version best of all! Wonderful! Now I gotta 'nother baby project on my list!
Thanks for sharing all the info with us! Really truly!
Awww shucks, now you’re embarrassing me. LOL
Thank you, though, really.
I’m so addicted right now I’m trying to convince DH I need more yarn so I can make a sweater for my 4-year-old. So what if it’s summer? LOL I did try to explain by the time I finish, he’ll probably need it, but I need to use up my stash first (just small amounts, none matching, and nothing appropriate for a sweater). I’m dying to make This sweater for DS. It seems like the next logical step. I don’t take baby steps. hehehe
I love that little baby kimono, very cute. You did a great job. I love looking at Ravelry and seeing peoples comments, you learn such a lot from that.
Hope you can convince DH that you need the yarn for DS sweater. show him the pattern, how could he possible object to your son wearing that great looking sweater. Thanks for posting the link. Have saved the pattern for the future.
Oh that is just too cute I love it
Very cute! It looks so comfy and soft.
It looks wonderful. I love how perfect it looks and soft and inviting. I would love to wear one of those myself. :woohoo:
Very nice job…my first garment sure didn’t look like that! LOL
