This is just a quickie scarf that got me through the times of plodding along with the shawl (it seems to be growing a life of it’s own, it’s huge) and for the times while knitting it when I wanted to pull out my hair!
I think this stitch is called either “mistake rib” or “Eve’s rib”, I’ve seen it called both.
This is the first time this year I have posted an FO, so I am glad to do so. The next thing I post will be the shawl, which should be in a few days. Thanks for looking!

I didn’t want to but it was the easiest thing I could think of to take to my FIL. I have some cotton and am knitting my SIL a paperback book cover, so I could not show up without something for my FIL. It’s finished now, thankfully. Now back to my shawl!

That’s a nice-looking scarf. Is it different from a regular ribbed scarf that you call it a mistake rib??
Yes, it is knit 3, yfwd, sl 1 purlwise, yb, knit 3, etc. It is multiples of 3+3. It looks nice when it is finished.
