This bag was made with WOTA liliac and tulip. I doubled the bottem to make it stronger and did some dec and inc randomly to give the bag more of a square-ish shape. I think that the pick and purple were too similar because it is hard to see Sara’s name on the pocket so I may get some darker purple and needle felt her name… maybe. Anyway here is my very first item designed by me! :happydance:
FO- Sara Bag
Very Pretty! I have a dd named Sara, spelled without the ‘h’. Did you just graph out the name before knitting it? I love it!
Very pretty! I love both of them.
I’m curious about how much difference there is when using a double strand for the bottom. I’ve only ever used one strand. This helps a lot then?
Very nice!!! LOVE the colors!
Aww, that’s cute! Wanna make one that says Cate? :roflhard:
Sooooo cute!!!
I love how its peronalized! That’s so cool! How did you do that?
Thanks all! All that I did was type her name in word, made it the size that i wanted her name to be, saved it then uploaded it here. That site automatically puts it into a graph that you can save and print. It actually was not as hard as I thought that it would be I just had to pay closer attention than I did with the bag part. The bottem is sturdier double stranded than with only one strand. I like it this way better than the single strand. Next time I may try use two strands all the way up.
Gah bags are addicting!
Cate: I will get right on that bag for you
Wow!! I am so impressed!! It looks great.
I’d love to know how to do the name/lettering too.
(Maybe I’ll start with single initials )
Awesome job!!!
That actually looks store bought! :rofling:
Wow!!! Very impressive!! I love the colors, and the “wavy” pocket. Great job!!
Love that you’ve added the name and in script, too!! Beautiful work!! Great design!
You did a great job designing that bag!
Love the font you used for the name.
What a great idea! I love it.
