FO: purple and gree stripped hat

This is made with debbie bliss alpaca silk. The pattern is from charmed knits. If any of you can figure out why the purple part at the top looks like a nipple it would help me out a lot.

I dunno, I like the nipple head look myself…

Purple and green were once my son’s favorite colors. He wanted a birthday cake…one half was green, one purple. Easy decorating!
Great hat! You did a good job.

Looks good to me. Nice job!

The Yarn Harlot says you need fewer rows of plain knitting when you’re decreasing at the top of the hat in order to fix the pointy thing. But I think it looks good anyways!

Any way of going back and fixing it?

:roflhard:
if you hadn’t said that, i definitely wouldn’t have thought that. wow. i’ll never be able to look at that hat again. :teehee:

When I put it on I looked at my boyfriend and said how do I look and he said it looks like you have a nipple on your head haha

Kim, the hat is adorable. I went to your blog, Reilly is really cute, her pics make me want to fondle those silky looking ears. I LOVE dogs! Our 12 1/2 y.o. Norwegian Buhund is sleeping on my feet as I type this.

BTW, if you don’t mind the,uh,stem on top of your head, nobody else will.

It’s a beautiful hat! Love the colors.

:teehee: I’m with Lady Violet… I wouldn’t have noticed that…:teehee:

It looks great…love the colors…

Your hat looks great. Regarding the little nipple thingy, LOL! I don’t know! Maybe your boyfriend has something besides your hat on his mind!!
But I think it looks really good!

Cute hat!
