Fo: patchwork afghan

Ok, I finished this in December, but am only now getting the photo up. Not a great photo, either, but the only one I took before giving the blanket to my nephew for Christmas.
It’s the Patchwork Afghan from Kids Knitting by Melanie Falick (great book for new knitters!)
I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky in Nantucket and Walnut and Patons Shetland Chunky in Med. Blue.
This was my first blanket–the knitting was easy, but I put off sewing it all together until the last minute…LOL

Current OTN:
ribbed scarf for DH (frogged it and am reknitting 2 years later since he-finally-told me it wasn’t long or wide enough…luckily I still had an extra skein of the yarn around)

working on my first pair of socks–also a pattern from the above book, but that’s going to be a long labor of love to get through…

About to start the backpack from the same book as well, worked on circular needles.

Very nice  I love the colors.

Pretty!!

Great job! Love the colors - and from what I can see, I like the way your stitching shows up in sewing the blocks together too!

:yay: it looks great!
