Here are a few things I’ve been working on:
The [COLOR=#333333][FONT=Verdana]palindrome scarf[/FONT][/COLOR] is a birthday present for my father-n-law. I used Caron’s Simply Soft, a brown color. It turned out really nice, and I think he’ll like it!
I’ve finished one [COLOR=#333333][FONT=Verdana]twinkletoes ballet slipper for my daughter, who wants to be a pink ballerina with purple shoes for halloween. I used Caron SS on this too.The straps could have been longer, but I think it’ll do for now. I’ll probably go back later and make them longer though.
And lastly, in the spirit of Halloween, I have made a [/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#333333][FONT=Verdana]Death of Rats[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#333333][FONT=Verdana]. Anyone familiar with Terry Pratchett books will know about this character, and what with “Reaper Man” being one of my favorite Discworld novels, I thought making this little guy would be fun. :teehee: He’s made with white red heart super saver, and his robe is black felt. His scythe is a bamboo skewer colored with brown marker, and some silver scrapbooking paper that I had. His robe is just stiff enough that it allows him to stand! I posed him by my halloween display, which explains the bloody candles if anyone is wondering.:shifty:

Beautiful job on the scarf! I love the color, and the cabling is perfect. Sweet little ballet slipper, too. And that’s the cutest rat I’ve ever seen.

I finished the Palindrome hat and scarf last week. Those slippers are gorg I would love the pattern for those! I think maybe I will give the dead rat a miss thought!!
