This is my 2nd pair of socks. I used KP Memories in Redwood Forest colorway and KP DPN’s, that are great! Next time i’ll knit the calves on larger needles than required, because as i discovered, my huge calves are having trouble keeping these socks on :teehee:
Beautiful work! I usually just make plain, boring socks with no decoration… Since people use my socks A LOT and basically just walk through them.
I really want to make a pretty pair for myself though…
Thank you.
The yarn - i got it on sale, so it’s already a huge plus:teehee:. Seriously now, i liked it. The color is really pretty, for my taste, it’s not too stretchy and not too stiff, it’s not splitting. I walked all day long and it started getting a little fuzzy on the lower part, so i guess it will pill, but it’s 100% wool, so i’m prepared for that. It’s not itchy at all (i’m very sensitive) and warm. The socks are not thick and yet i was out in my Teva Naot shoes (like Betula) and i was never cold :woohoo:
They are SOOOOOOO nice! And I love the yarn choice. I too am working on Monkey Socks—my 3rd pair. I’ve memorized the pattern which is great as I use it as my “knit on the go” (read bus) knitting.
