I used Silver’s Tutorial and Knit Picks Parade in Plum. Also used size 4 bamboo DPN’s. The tutorial was easy to follow once I learned how to use DPN’s. The yarn isn’t as soft as I’d hoped, but after washing it does feel better. I can feel the texture of the stitches on my feet so a smaller needle and finer yarn probably makes better socks…at least for me.

Yay! :cheering: They might get softer after you’ve worn them a few times, too. I haven’t finished my Parade socks yet, but my other socks have gotten softer after being rubbed in shoes.

Woot Jan! They look fabulous! :cheering: I’m working through Silver’s tutorial at the moment using an acrylic DK yarn as a ‘tester’ sock. I managed to get some cheap cashmere/cotton blend wool at the weekend which comes with a free fingering weight pure cashmere wool as a bonus. I want to try a sock on the home made dpns with this acrylic to practice then hit the cashmere =D
