I have been wanting to try socks for the longest!! Here is my first:

That is very nice! What is the pattern and what yarn did/are you using? I have yet to knit socks–but learning how is on my summer knitting to do list. Seeing your nice sock gives me hope.
I used a worsted, handpainted wool yarn from my LYS. The picture doesn’t do the yarn justice. The pattern is one from knitting pure & simple. It can be found here. It was SO easy to follow.
