FO: My first ever baby knits!

The family in the flat below us brought home Baby Laura on Sunday, so I thought it would be nice to try something for a baby – yay!

I used Larissa Brown’s Lilly pattern and the Five Hour Baby Sweater pattern. Info is on my Ravelry project page.

I did get the loops turned around at some point, but I actually liked the texture of it, so I decided to leave it as a “feature”. :wink: I did do the sleeves with the loops the right way around to highlight the rest of it, I hope it doesn’t look like it was by accident. :slight_smile:

I like baby clothes…they’re done so quickly!

Those are simply adorable! I like the way the “accident” loops look. I don’t think they look accidental at all. :slight_smile:

Bless your paws and whiskers. :slight_smile: You know how it goes, you always second guess yourself, don’t you? I’m soooo pleased with how they turned out! (I suppose someday I’ll look at the pictures and wonder why I was so pleased! heheheh.)

I hope it fits! I think the sweater [I]will[/I] be a bit big, but with a baby, that’s probably not such a bad thing… I’m more worried about how long she’ll be able to wear the hat…
