Ok, here’s my very first crochet project finished:

I used the Crochet-A-Long Doily pattern to make this. The only thing I’ve got left to do with it is some quick blocking.
It didn’t turn out exactly the same though…I didn’t have the right material, so I ended up using Red Heart Super-Saver worsted weight yarn with an F-size hook. The doily ended up being 28 inches in diameter - just a bit larger than your usual doily! :teehee:
As a project, it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about crocheting by doing it…Still not sure exactly what I’ll do with it. I don’t really have any use for it so I’ll either hang it up on the wall or give it to my parents. I’m thinking for my next crochet project I’ll make some simple pot-holders…
So jelouse. Still can’t crochet to save my life. One day I’ll get it. You can always use it as a center piece for a table or something.
