FO Munich shawl

I finally finished the Munich shawl from the 1911 and/or 1912 Fleisher’s Manual-----obtained from http://www.knitanon.com/blog/archives/2000/06/30T135022

This pattern appears to be just general guidelines and one must work out some details to make it work. If anyone decides to knit this, let me know and I’ll let you know of some of the things I have learned from completing this. I will try to post a picture or two to show. I really like how it came out. I did just use some Woolease sport weight sale yarn that I had on hand. I think my next project will be something small tho.

I can’t get the picture to post even tho I took it at 640X480 which is what I used in the past to post pictures. Guess I’ll go read any instructions to see what I must do to post the picture. Later,

Okay, I resized the phote so here it is------

Here’s another view of the shawl.

Wow, that is beautiful.
I have recently become addicted to knitting shawls and anything lace

Your shawl is lovely! I just finished the Oregon Shawl by Joan Schrouder and am ready for a new project. I’ve downloaded the Munich Shawl pattern and would like to start it later this week. Any advice you can give will be appreciated.

Thanks!
