I finally finished another pair of socks today. I can’t remember the name of the yarn…I got it at my LYS, and it’s 1 huge skein, enough to make 2 socks. Of course, I have a bunch left over so I may be able to make a pair for DD. These almost match, for some reason my gauge was tight on the heel flap, but I didn’t feel like frogging. You can really only tell on the heels and toes. I used the round toe method that knitqueen posted…I really like it better than the kitchener stitch finish, although I am glad I have the experience with that
THOSE ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Gorgeous I love the colorway, too
I the socks! (Btw, I have chicken legs, too… hehe.)
That colorway just knocks my socks off! :rofling:
Sorry, couldn’t resist. They look fabulous! :cheering:
I absolutely LOVE how perfectly your stripes match! Well Done!
Wow, that’s pretty! Does the yarn naturally color like that, or is it your own doing? They’re so beutiful
Awesome! Love those colors!!
Thanks all! Dreamweaver, I didn’t dye the yarn…it’s self-striping, or whatever
Those socks are just beautiful! I LOVE the colors. We have what they call “sock kits” where it’s just one big skein that is supposed to make 1 average size women’s sock and enough to make a set of toddler socks.
Very very nice
Those are really great! Love the stripes! Did you knit both at the same time or one at a time?
Oooh, those are pretty!
