FO: Mom's sweater

I finished my mom’s sweater yesterday. It’s a recycled sweater from a dutch pattern. My mom knitted this sweater, but since then, she has lost 20 kg, so the sweater was way to large. Since I was really proud of her, I decided to reknit her sweater, 1 size smaller. It’s a bit thight now, but she’s still losing weight, so I’ll leave it this way. I know it’ll fit eventualy. The yarn is nomotta sachenmayer punto.

[color=blue]Beautiful! Just beautiful! and congrats to Mum! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

What a sweet thing to do. Clothes you love can sometimes be an excuse (note that I did NOT say valid reason) to give up on a weight loss program. I’m sure your mom appreciates what you’ve done.

You’re absolutely right about that. My mom loved that sweater. Now she has a reason to lose a bit more weight, so it’ll fit perfect :teehee:

what a great way to show your mom how proud you are of her! and what a lovely sweater- MKZ

What a sweet thing to do! When I lose all my weight, I am going to have to rip out and do it myself as my dd doesn’t knit! lol It is a beautiful sweater. You should get your mom to model it for us when she feels comfortable in it so we can applaud her weight loss!

THat is beautiful and a wonderful gesture! I am in awe of your talent.
