FO: Modeling sweater

This is my second daughter, Sue, modeling the pullover I just finished for her. She  her sweater!

She stopped by this afternoon to pick up some things and when I saw she was wearing the sweater I grabbed my camera…didn’t even think to neaten up the background :aww:

Judy

She’s adorable! I’m glad she loves her sweater and she wears it! :yay:

who cares about the background - LOOK AT THE SMILE ON HER FACE!!!

I second that!!!

She’s so cute, and obviously loves her sweater! What a great gift!

I love her sweater too!! And you have a beautiful daughter, what a great smile!

ETA: I’m glad you didn’t straighten the background, too-it looks like a lived in real home :o)

BTW, what pattern is that for the sweater? It looks really comfy and simple to knit!

She does have a great smile!

I’d be curious to know what pattern that is also, “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” as Mark Twain put it.

Lovely!!! It’s such a pleasure to make something for someone who appreciates it.

That’s awesome!! Beautiful color and she’s obviously thrilled with it!

It’s the Knitting Pure and Simple pullover pattern #9724. The sweater is knit from the neck down. The only finishing required is taking care of the yarn ends.

Judy

I’m repeating myself :), but it’s the Knitting Pure and Simple pullover pattern #9724. I got the pattern from one of the on-line shops and just discovered the other day a yarn shop not too far from me carries this pattern.

Judy

This is the daughter who says everything I make for her, whether it’s a sweater, hat, scarf, mittens, socks, afghan, or what-have-you, is like a warm hug from Mom.

Judy

oh, that is sweet! The pullover, the smile, the gift and that thing your daughter says and feels:
The love that went into the stitches oozes out to her again. That is when knitting becomes really worth it! Great!

Beautiful! :yay:

I just saw your lovely daughter in her sweater you made for her! What a joy she must be to you. Her expression says it all,
I LOVE YOU, MOM.

Don’t give the kitchen background a thought – we know real family lives there.

The stitches are perfect! A pullover that she can wear all the time, any time! Congrats!

I can see why she likes her sweater, too! The pattern and the color are great!
