I just finished a sundress for Atlanta. I got the pattern from a book called “minnies quickknits for babies and toddlers” a minnowknits book by Jil Eaton. It was my first article of clothing knit in the round which was not as bad as I thought it would be. The pattern calls for it all one color but I thought that would be boring so I thought I would through a couple rounds of red in it then I come to find out that this is Fair Isle knitting(how cool I found out by accident that I know how to do it) I used some old yarn that I got for free from someone and I didn’t have quite enough so I finished it off in the red.
That is soooo cute!!!Love the red!!! :cheering:
That’s adorable!! Lucky baby girl.
Awwwwwwwwwww…
I want a little person to knit for. My daughters are 21, 23 and 25 and man! do I wish I had learned to knit when they were small. However, they’d probably have killed me because I probably would’ve made them matching outfits. Did they EVER hate that!
Thanks for sharing that beautiful outfit. It’s precious!
Blessings,
Leslie
OMG- that is so cute- I can see it now with little ruffled tights and a turtleneck… or a little shirt with a collar… and how cool you figured out fair isle all on your own! great job!
So cute!! I love the red
That is adorable!

It’s so adorable!!!
That’s so sweet! I love the red with it!
I love the hearts at the bottom! So impressive how you improvised!!!
Yeah I love the red too. The yellow just seem to yell I need red with me. I knit a poncho from the yellow too and had to add a red border and tassels to it. the red makes it pop somehow.
Oh, I LOVE ponchos! A few years ago, my mom knit ponchos for each of my daughters for Christmas. They were a HUGE hit! Very 70’s!
Thanks for sharing…
