My mom and I knitted these Mickey (Mom) and Minnie (me) backpacks for our trip to Florida and Disneyworld. They went very well with our mouse ears. :lol:
The pattern was Punk Rock Backpack from the Stitch n’ Bitch book and we used Wool of the Andes from Knitpicks. I used the “Monkey” chart size to make the Mickey and Minnie faces.
This was the first time I had to sew any fabric onto my knitting, but the lining and the zipper turned out fine. We both increased the lengths of our shoulder straps a few inches more than the pattern called for.
