Here is my Lucy Bag. It is actually my mom’s. I told her I would make her a felted bag so she found this pattern at LYS. She also bought the yarn. It is maroon and orange for Virginia Tech. She goes to the football game so she wanted a “Hokie” bag. I don’t get sports and I come from a family of sport fanatics  . Guess I didn’t get that gene. Anyway, I used Cascade 220. I love it. It felted perfectly the first time. I am going to make a Lucy Bag for myself now. I want a sage green color. I love Rhonda’s idea of using a pretty pin on the strap.
FO-Lucy Bag
UH-OH can’t let the FIL see this or he’ll want a Hokie bag too! Go Virginia Tech!
It looks great - even if the color combo is questionable! Wonderful job!
Very pretty!
I love it! That stripe adds a lot of character to the bag! My mother showed my aunt her new Lucy Bag (I gave mine to my mother - she is moving away from me and it’s a goodbye gift of sorts), and now my aunt wants one! I’ve made 4 Booga Bags and 1 Lucy Bag and I don’t own one of them! I’m still carrying around my leather bag from the store!!!
Oh, I love, love you Lucy
That is really cute; one of the best I’ve seen.
That’s NICE. Looks so sturdy too… I like the wide strap.
Cascade… hmmmm haven’t considered using that yet.
Very nice!
I really like it! Great job!!
I like the color combination… I love using bright color purses or scarves, specially when I wear all black… :XX:
Nice job!!
Looks great! I used one strand of Cascade for my best friend’s Lucy and it was SO sturdy!! I’m making one for myself (finally!) with Malabrigo and I hope it turns out! I Lucy!
great job! I always wanted to knit myself a lucy bag. I just need to get the guts to use my money on that pattern Well done!
That turned out extremely well! Wow!
I love the looks of the lucy bag, although I’ve never tried it. Your looks wonderful!
Way cool bag!
