FO: Lotus Blossom Lace Tank

My recently finished project, that i knitted with birthday yarn. It took me a month (along with other projects).

Pattern: Lotus Blossom Tank by Sharon Shoji.
Needles: 3.75mm and 3.50 mm.
Yarn: Gong by Ornaghi Filati.
Size: 39" (my bust is 36")

I’ve used finer yarn than required, thus i went down a needle size to create a good looking fabric and also knitted a bigger size, which eventually made a perfect match. The yarn is delicious! It’s Italian spun Egyptian mercerized cotton, with many fine plies. It’s much better than the cottons i found in Jerusalem LYS’s. That one was bought in Haifa. The store carries it in so many amazing colors i had to hold my hands behind my back to resist it all:teehee: It has beautiful sheen and this particular color is dark olive green.
I hope you like it:thumbsup:

That’s beautiful, Nat!

Yep, gorgeous!

Great fit and it’s gorgeous! Really love that color! :cheering: :cheering:

Very pretty!

Yours looks soooo much better than mine! You look just GREAT!

My gauge was ALL OFF big-time, and I have to wear mine with a shirt or blouse, kind of like a vest. I still don’t know what I did wrong. Well…wrong “GAUGE” I guess!

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the fit on you.

Very nice lovely work! Looks great on you as well

Beautiful!!! Love the fit, color and style! It fits you like a glove!!

It’s absolutely lovely! Nice, nice work.

Thank you for your compliments ! I’m glad you liked it. I really enjoy wearing it, though i don’t think i’ll wear it in the mornings when it’s very hot.

Oh that is so pretty and I love the colour(green is my fav)

Oh, that’s beautiful! I’ve been considering making this one, and now I think I will, after seeing yours!

Thank you, girls!

It’s a very fun knit, just take into consideration my mods - i used thinner yarn than called for, because it’s so hot here i couldn’t have worn anything thicker than that.
