FO: Lordy, is Elijah cute!

Wo-OOOW, I love this pattern!! Elijah’s redonkulously cute, and he’ll soon be flying f/CA to NC to meet his new buddy, the newly adopted 1 yr old son of my friends.

He’s by Ysolda of ysolda.com - brilliant pattern, not only her design, but also incredibly clear and logically spelled out. Highly recommend her.

Now … time to make my OWN Elijah … :woot:

He is adorable and his new owner will love him.

I love him! I don’t blame you for wanting your own.

He is pretty darned cute. I am sure your friends will be thrilled that you went to all this trouble for their new addition. The little man is going to love him. Great job.

I LOVE IT!!! he is sooo cute and adorable!! Great work!!

OMG! HE’s just precious! You did a great job on him and great color, too!
The pattern looks fantastic and your stitch definition is perfect!

He came out so cute!

He is too sweet!

Bambi

That little guy is SO cute! Your friends are going to love him.

So cute . Brilliant job

I just looked at Ysolda’s website. She has some great things. Thanks for sharing!

Wow - you toy knitters make me want my dd to have all knitted toys!

Awwww, he’s so cute!

This has been on my list, but I have been intimidated. I love yours, it is so cute.

Thank you everyone, for the props!! It will actually be painful to part with him, he’s so adorable. I’m starting on my own today

domiknitrix - please don’t be intimidated - I’m really only an intermediate knitter (don’t knit socks, or lace). See my notes on Ravelry (I’m lovechild) - hopefully they’ll help, especially the you-tube video for the lighter circular cast-on. I just saw your hemlock blanket (holy moly!), and you’d have no problem cranking out as many Elijahs as you desire!

Awwww! So cute!

I love him!

He’s adorable! Now I want to make one for Kate, I’ll just add it to the list, if I can squeeze it on.

A blue elephant is just SO cute!

I don’t think anyone has asked this yet - what yarn did you use? He looks so soft, sweet, and huggable!

Thanks, McKnitty  I searched for just the right yarn b/c it has to be very soft and non-scratchy - yet stand up to washing and the inevitable (I hope!) wear from being dragged around by a toddler.

It’s Crystal Palace Bunny Hop - suuuper soft, 10% angora and 90% acrylic/microfiber blend, tightly plied so I think it’ll wear well, and can be (gently) machine washed. Highly recommend it, and feels good to knit with to boot. I bet it looks great in baby wear!

I got some pink this weekend - am going to start on a modification of this pattern for a bunny
