This is the Lettuce Coat from Custom Knits by Wendy Bernard (really recommend this book-such great patterns-where I got my Jewel from)
This actually is a pretty quick knit but I had put it down bc I got sick of picking up stitches for the sleeve. Once I picked it up again it quickly finished it. I knit it in Malabrigo kettle dyed emerald. Yummy yummy. I used size 9 for the body and 8 and 9 for the sleeves. Apparently I knitted way way too tight because I had to really really block to get it to fit. It worked out in the end though.
Though it does it does kinda make my behind look big though. LOL that’s ok. I still like it. I know I’m petite so it doesn’t bother me.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful coat!!! Love it!!!
And you really got the Malabrigo colorway under control!
I don’t see any lines or breaks in the color consistency!
Thanks!! I alternated skeins every two rows. I had to rip back at first when I saw the inconsistency even within the same dye lot. I really like the way it came out.
Beautiful coat and colorway. I don’t think anything could make your butt look big. I love that book, too. I haven’t started anything from it but it is so well written that I like to just read it.
