FO: Lace socks

Finally got these socks finished. Might give them to someone since I have millions of wooly socks already

This is a very easy lace pattern I found from http://craftoholic.blogspot.com/. Next time I use this pattern I will leave out the first/last knitted stiches from the pattern because I personally donā€™t like the ā€œstripesā€ on the sides.

They certainly look warm and cozy! Great job!

Very prettyā€¦they look so warm too!

Man those are beautfiul and look WARM!!

Oh those look GREAT!! Love the color and the lace effect!

Beautiful! What kind of yarn is that?

Nice!

They look great
Did it take much longer than knitting plain socks? Iā€™ve only been knitting one pair of patterned socks untill now and that was an easy cable one. Iā€™ve stayed away from something more complicated because I thought it would take too long.

Mer --> Itā€™s Finnish Novita Nalle Colori yarn. Itā€™s 75% wool and 25% polyamide. Youā€™re supposed to use size 3 1/2 mm needles, donā€™t know what mine were (the problem associated with borrowing needles from your mum who keeps them all mixed up in a plastic bag)

The yarn is very easy to knit and very durable. Iā€™ve had socks from Nalle yarn that I have worn for years without too much wear and tear - exactly why I have so many pairs of socks

javede --> It wouldnā€™t have taken me long at all if i hadnā€™t run out of yarn while knitting the first sock

Iā€™d say it took me about 3 days to knit each sock. The pattern is really easy to memorize so it makes the whole knitting process much faster.

Very pretty! They look very warm, too!

SO pretty!

Beautiful! :inlove:
