FO - Lace Christening Shawl FINALLY FINISHED!

Thanks Deb. I usually have two projects going at all times. One is for sitting in the bedroom alone because you have to concentrate at all times, and one for watching t.v. You know, the only garter stitch scarf or whatever.

I notice you are in N. Texas. I’m in Ft.Worth area.

that is GORGEOUS-really! You should be really proud-this is sure to be treasured for many, many years!

Amazing work - it will be cherished forever!

Oh… My… Goodness! Absolutely A~mazing! :yay:

:passedout:

That is so beautiful… I can see the love in every stitch. I am sure that many years from now, that your grandchildren, their children, etc will all be christened in that.

Way to go…

I have dreams (and so far the supplies) of making a christening gown with a little bonnet to start a new heirloom (see link to another thread with pic).
Dalegarn Christening Gown
There was a sale at Personal Threads recently and I acquired the 20 balls of yarn for it and the needle just came from my LYS this weekend. So, I think once I start it will be my forever project.
Thanks for posting, it inspires me that if you think you can, you will!
Way to go!

It is gorgeous! I am sure that his future bride would be honored to include that in her esemble on their wedding day…it can be her something old. Very nice job!
